Ginger's Birthday Outfit

We met Lindsey and her sweet girls yesterday at The Council House to eat, visit, and get Ginger's birthday outfit. We had a wonderful time, and once again, Lindsey did not disappoint...the outfit is precious! Can't wait for her to wear it!

So Long, Mr. Bottle

We (of course I mean Ginger) haven't had a bottle in a week! Woohoo!!! Well, let me back up. She had one Monday morning, but that would be my fault because I did not run the dishwasher Sunday night. Anywho, she doesn't seem to be bothered by it and takes her milk, juice, and water through a sippy cup. I was prepared for a battle and was ready to put my motherly foot down on the issue but didn't have to. Thank you, God! Oh, and speaking of all things heavenly, Ginger's newest word is "Jesus." Yep, that's right. She's been saying it, and not because it's tossed around here in vain but because my dad has been pointing to a magnet and saying it over and over to her. Such a reminder that she is quickly learning to repeat many things that we say and do.

Hope you are all having a GREAT week!

Super Bulldog Weekend

Those who know me best know that Super Bulldog Weekend is not my cup of tea. With that said, I will admit that I did have a good time cooking out, relaxing, and visiting with family and friends.

The fam (Hutson, you're looking excited there, hun!)

Her reaction was priceless!

Slight Difference

My good friend, Morgan, and I are quite different in many ways, but the latest I've discovered is how we feed our children. I cut up Ginger's food and feed it to her bite by bite from a spoon. She, however, rakes it all out on Paxton's tray and lets him go at it. She is way more tolerable than I am!!!

This is why I prefer my way of feeding :) Although, it does provide for great photo ops!

Can you tell the difference in how they eat by looking at their faces?? :)
I love you, Morgan :)

Swimsuit Model

My child is a model. Ok, well, maybe not so much. We were at The Sweet Pea in Greenwood today, and I found this precious bathing suit. The girl working there was sweet enough to let me take it apart and try it on Ginger. She looked so stinkin' cute in it that they wanted a picture of her to go on their Facebook page. My head is big...really big. Of course, we came home with the precious bathing suit. Shhh...don't tell Hutson :)
Don't you love the rolls in the legs???
(It's all cute and fun until you're about twelve!)

If you're in the Greenwood area you should definitely stop by The Sweet Pea! (I wasn't paid for that advertisement :)

11 Months Old!!

Dear Ginger,

Today you are 11 months old, and we love you more than we ever thought possible. You are adorable, silly, loving, strong-willed, and the light of our lives! We are so thankful that we are your daddy and mama!

Here's what you are up to lately:

*eating table food only and let me tell you, girl, you are one healthy eater ;)
*transitioning from formula to milk very easily and only taking a bottle at night
*wearing size 5 diapers
*wearing 12-18 month clothes
*sleeping from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
*walking/running everywhere!!!
*saying "dadada," "mama," and "tant you" (thank you:)
*fake coughing and sneezing when we cough or sneeze
*smacking your lips after you eat something yummy
*holding your fist in the air when we say, "Girl power!"
*putting your finger up your nose when when ask you where your nose is
*patting your head when you fall down

So hard to believe you will be 1 in just four short weeks!
We love you, sweet girl,

Daddy and Mama

Easter Pics

We had a great Easter weekend! It was so much fun with an almost one-year-old! Ginger really got into her Easter basket and what the bunny brought...so much fun to watch!
She was very much into finding the eggs.

I tried a few times to keep her from eating the eggs but soon gave up.
