Just Tryin' Them On

I took Ginger to Poppy's clinic, and she loved wearing the kids' glasses. This pair of Juicy Coutures was her fav! I'm pretending those were her favorite because my glasses are Juicy :) She giggled when I put them on her and refused to let me take them off of her.

Funny Story...

Saturday night I asked Hutson to put Ginger in the bed. When he picked her up, he grunted in horror to realize that Ginger was tee-teeing on him. I checked to see why our diapers weren't working and noticed that she didn't have a diaper on...weird! I found her diaper sticking out of the leg of her pajamas. No clue how that happened, but I am thankful that the mess was contained to Hutson's hands!! Sorry, Hut!!!

Ginger and Her Piggies

I was debating cutting Ginger's hair again, but this past week I was able to put it up in pig tails and knew immediately that we were growing it out. Love, love, love her sweet piggies!!

We took Ginger swimming for the first time Saturday. She came back with mixed emotions. She does NOT like for us to hold her in the pool, but she LOVES to float in her little inner tube...go figure! We had a blast and look forward to swimming all summer long!!

Birthday Pictures

This past Saturday we had Ginger's 1st birthday party out at Hutson's parent's home. We had a great time, and I am always reminded how blessed we are with family and friends who love and support us! I don't have too many pictures of the day because my MIL hired a photographer so that I wouldn't have to run around like a maniac taking pictures and hosting. It was very relaxing to leave it up to him! Hopefully, I can share his pictures soon.

No Better Mama...

than my mama! Before I had Ginger, I had a pretty good idea of what a wonderful Mother I had, but now, being a mom myself, I realize that I have the ABSOLUTE best Mama in the world! She loves me unconditionally and is always there for me. I couldn't ask for a better Bella (don't call her "grandmother"...she's much too young :) for my sweet daughter. My prayer is that I can show Ginger the same love that she shows me!! I love you, Mama!!!

She's One!!!

One year ago today, our lives changed forever! I've said it over and over again, but we are so blessed to be Ginger's parents. I can't get enough of her! I want to squeeze her little cheeks, kiss her little lips, and pat her chubby little thighs ALL the time! She is my little miracle and the beat of my heart! I have so enjoyed the first year of her life and cannot wait to see what the future holds for her. Happy birthday, Ginger Belle!!!
